Tips for Having the Perfect Senior Photoshoot
A senior photoshoot is a significant milestone that captures a pivotal time in a HS senior’s life. By following these tips, you'll be well-prepared to have a successful and enjoyable senior photoshoot, resulting in beautiful photos that you’ll cherish for years to come.
Ensure that the photographer you choose has experience working with HS seniors. An amazing wedding photographer might not have the expertise to give you the perfect senior photo experience. By choosing someone who specializes in photographing HS senior you’ll know you’re getting someone that can give you what you’re looking for.
Plan Ahead: Popular Senior photographers get booked out weeks, even months in advance. Schedule your session ahead of time to ensure you get the photographer and date you want. Once you have your senior session date on your calendar you’ll have something to look forward to and will be able to start planning your outfits and scope out locations.
Location: Your photographer can also help you choose the best location and time of year for what you want such as a flower field, fall foliage, or beach. Each location has their peak time of year and your photographer should know when that is.
