Unexpected Places to Use Your Brand Photography Photos

Everyone knows the usual places to use their brand photos, like their website, social media pages and profile pics, so here are a few unexpected but highly effective places you can also add them:

Personalized Email Signature

Adding one of your brand photos to your signature page can make it more personal while staying professional. For example, if you’re a dog groomer, a candid photo of you working with a dog shows your expertise and warmth before a future client even reads the email.

Here’s my own personalized email signature! It clearly shows that I’m a photographer but that I also like having fun.

Online calendar/scheduling pages

If you use an online scheduling platform such as Schedulicity or Calendly, your clients will see a welcome photo of you which sets the tone for future meetings and bolter your professional image and personality. It can be easy to forget adding a photo to your when you’re focused on setting your schedule. Don’t let a blank page or default template dilute your brand when clients are booking their time with you!

Digital proposals and Contracts

Contracts don’t have to be boring. Whether you add a header image or a subtle background photo, a personal brand photo can keep your business image consistent and makes your documents feel polished and professional. An image of your workspace can bring life to what would otherwise be a plain PDF.

Local Ads & Signage

Think local! Use your personal brand photos for flyers, posters, or signage that you can use at an book signing or sales booth. Your brand photography can make your materials stand out in a sea of text-heavy content. Images that reflect the heart of your brand—like behind-the-scenes shots or lifestyle photos—can make a brochure or poster feel more relatable and engaging than simple text.

QR Code Landing Pages

QR codes are easy to create and use but they’re only as effective as the landing page they link to. If you use QR codes (on business cards, product packaging, or signage), make sure that the linked landing page is visually appealing with your brand photography. It’ll help new clients/customers know they are on the right page and it reinforces your professional image.

This photo I took for a dog groomer just screams to be put to work EVERYWHERE!

Brand photography isn’t just a bunch of pretty photos—it’s about connecting with your ideal clients. By incorporating your personal brand images into unexpected places like email signatures, scheduling pages, and even signage, you’re reinforcing your brand identity in every interaction. These unexpected places for your brand photos can make every part of your business look as legit as you are! Small changes like these can have a big impact on how your future clients perceive you and your business.
